TODCO offers an alternative to the city’s Central Corridor Plan

The TODCO Group, long-time non-profit housing providers in the Yerba Buena neighborhood, has released their Central SoMa Community Plan. It is intended to be an alternative to the city’s Central Corridor Project. It is based on decades of community building experience in SoMa and involved the many community voices of SoMa. They have created a website at (http://www.todcocentralsomacommunityplan.org) to present their “EIR Draft”which covers all the major topics that must be addressed by the City’s Environmental Impact Report for the Central Corridor Project in order to be considered for approval by the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors in 2014 or later. They will continue to add new sections to the Plan which address non-EIR topics as well throughout the rest of 2013 .
